Waiting on the new baby Bow

Love when I get to see this adorable family!

They are expecting their 3rd (what I know will be) adorable child. Everyone has to wait until that sweet pea gets here to know if it will be another handsome boy to make 3 or if baby Bow will be wearing bows… either way this Mom and Dad are super excited for a healthy 10 fingers and 10 toes baby to love!:)

This Momma is such a beautiful person, inside and out! And those boys sure do love her!:)

As always.. she was super cute for all of her pictures, I had a hard time picking just a few for the preview.:)

Can’t wait to meet baby Bow #3!

Greyson & Brynlee

This sweet Momma is so patient, here is your sneak peak.:)

It is always lots of fun when I get to see this sweet family.:)Their beautiful red heads are always the most fun to photograph. This time they brought their Grandparents with them to join in the fun.:)

Greyson and Brynlee are always so happy. When it was time for their grandparents to take pictures of just the two of them, they helped me by making them smile.:)(Look at the picture 2nd row in the middle):)

Dustin John Pickel

As I sit here with a heavy heart and tear filled eyes, I am asking for your prayers again for Dustin’s sweet family. Please pray for peace and comfort for his family, as Dustin entered into Heaven yesterday afternoon.  He walks with angels now, pain free and with no more cancer.

Amazing Grace, my chains are gone

“Even youths grow tired and weary,

and young men stumble and fall;

but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength.

They will soar on wings like eagles;

they will run and not grow weary,

they will walk and not be faint.”

                                                    – Isaiah 40: 30-31

Please keep the families on your prayer lists, not just in the next few days, but for the next few days/weeks/months and even years.

” The Lord is close to the brokenhearted

and saves those who are crushed in spirit.”

                                                                – Psalm 34: 18

Dustin- Praise you in this storm

Sweet Dustin

I come to you again asking for more prayers for sweet little Dustin. This time the prayers are for strength for his Mom and Dad and the rest of his family, the doctors, the nurses, and everyone.

Our God is calling him to his forever home and I ask that you pray that God wraps his arms around the entire family. Please give Kelly and Jeff the strength and comfort they need. Please give Dustin the peace and comfort that he needs.

I think of Dustin (and his entire family and all of the people who have been touched by his journey) when I read the verse in

2 Timothy 4:7  ”I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day- and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing.”

Because Dustin has fought one heck of a fight. His parents and family have fought a fight that only comes in nightmares to most of us. And I pray daily for peace for every single one of them, how ever God may chose for that to be for the family. Because it is in His hands alone.

I also think of Dustin and his family every time I play this song or it comes on the radio. (which always seems to be at just the right time.) This song also uses part of another one of my favorite bible verses, Psalm 121:1-

“I lift my eyes up to the hills, where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth…”

Praise you in this storm by Casting Crowns

(Some have said the above link does not work for the song, so just in case here is another one:

Praise you in this Storm )

What the lead singer says at the beginning of the video is a great message too.

“Praise You In This Storm”

I was sure by now
God You would have reached down
And wiped our tears away
Stepped in and saved the day
But once again, I say “Amen”, and it’s still rainingAs the thunder rolls
I barely hear Your whisper through the rain
“I’m with you”
And as Your mercy falls
I raise my hands and praise the God who gives
And takes away[Chorus:]
And I’ll praise You in this storm
And I will lift my hands
For You are who You are
No matter where I am
And every tear I’ve cried
You hold in Your hand
You never left my side
And though my heart is torn
I will praise You in this storm

I remember when
I stumbled in the wind
You heard my cry to you
And you raised me up again
My strength is almost gone
How can I carry on
If I can’t find You

But as the thunder rolls
I barely hear You whisper through the rain
“I’m with you”
And as Your mercy falls
I raise my hands and praise the God who gives
And takes away

I lift my eyes unto the hills
Where does my help come from?
My help comes from the Lord
The Maker of Heaven and Earth

[Chorus x2]

So hard to take when he is so small and defenseless. I know the strength and courage you all have to have. You are needed for the babies that will be left behind. I will pray for you.
